Meet our May and June Longevity Fund Recipients

We’re excited to announce our latest Longevity Fund Recipients! Thanks to your donations and passion for Chinatown, we were able to distribute a total of $188,000 in grants in the months of May and June! As we continue with our goal to distribute $1 million in grants to Manhattan Chinatown, we continue to support recovery efforts and drive long-term sustainability efforts through business recovery and recuperation.

The Longevity Fund provides assistance through monetary grants to Manhattan Chinatown small businesses for recovery and improvements. Small businesses may submit a request for proposal in the categories of business recovery (utilities, rent, insurance, labor/wages) or business improvement (marketing, physical space improvements, operations, etc.).

For the month of May/June, a few of our grantees have requested funds to support projects such as website build-outs and e-commerce launches (Sun’s Organic Garden), outdoor dining builds (Round K), custom packaging in preparation for the Mid-Autumn Festival (Double Crispy) and more! With the continued support of business improvement and business sustainability, we hope that we ensure Chinatown, both its community and legacy will be here for future generations from all walks of life to enjoy.
