Mahjong, Market and Mingle with Gaysian Tile Party (+ Midnight Madness!)

This event is hosted by our friends, Gaysian Tile Party.

Come welcome the year of the dragon with some tile shuffling, shopping, and socializing at Welcome to Chinatown’s Hub for a happy hour, some talented community vendors will be selling their crafts.

We’ll be hanging out from 8pm to 11:45ish, then we’ll head out to watch the midnight lion dances on Mott Street!

As always, bring a tile set if you can, but also feel free to bring anything that you feel would help with the festive vibes, whether that’s baked goods, dumplings, fruit, etc

Games with points are heavily encouraged, as this is the last official tile party before the tournament on the 18th.

This event will require masks (and we’ll have some on hand, but bringing ur own is encouraged)

So You Think You Can Pitch

Are you a first-time or novice small business owner or entrepreneur learning how to pitch, but pitching itself is, well, daunting? If so, Welcome to Chinatown’s “So You Think You Can Pitch Too” event is for you!

This is our second iteration of this event and we’re excited to welcome a whole new panel of speakers. Say goodbye to your fears of entrepreneur “soft skills” – from talking about yourself and securing funding to describing your vision and solidifying partnerships.

“So You Think You Can Pitch” is a learning and networking session that offers attendees the tools and resources they need to amplify their brand, whether it’s themselves or their company. The event will include a panel and Q&A, followed by a networking session. We are offering an opportunity for a few attendees to give a short pitch to the panelists and get direct, live feedback during the event!
